New working groups have formed: a Waste Group came from someone who had been following CPTT on Facebook, and a Transport Group from someone who had come to a number of CPTT events and had been thinking about it for a while. ‘Palace Power’ is seeking to create a community solar energy company modelled on the nearby Brixton Energy (see page 126) and ‘Local and Fair’ is working to raise awareness of Fairtrade and supporting local businesses. And yes, Rachel did produce her Christmas dinner, although, after the dreadful summer of 2012, the carrots were rather small.
